Home Based Respite Care

Support for Carers
If you provide care for a relative or friend in the home and find it difficult to manage these commitments, you may be eligible to receive Home Based Respite Care.
We can provide the care, support and companionship through our team of professional and highly trained care workers allowing you to take a break and spend some time in any way that you wish.
You may choose to use the Respite Care Service at regular times each week, on an occasional basis or even over a longer period. Whatever you decide you can have peace of mind that your loved one is receiving the best quality care from our experienced and dedicated team.

Your Choice
We can provide the scope and level of care to suit both your needs and the needs of the one you care for. Whether it is taking over the full time carers usual tasks, to simply providing companionship, the choice is yours.
Due to our Carers being highly trained they can deal with complex care needs but also provide a friendly and considerate service. Even if it’s just being there to provide social interaction, to discuss and help with the client’s interests or to talk about recent or past events, our Carers are happy to provide any level of care or companionship you may require.
Our Carers are just as proficient in the outside world as they are in the home environment. They can take your cared for one to appointments, social engagements, shopping or maybe just out for a walk.

Funding
Funding for Czajka Home Based Respite Care is provided through the Social Services Department of Leeds City Council.
The service is currently provided free to eligible carers living within the South Leeds Catchment area and can be accessed up to 8 hours per week. To confirm your eligibility please refer to the map and detail or alternatively call our contact numbers with your postcode details.
