Dear Konrad, Jasia and family,
Thankyou for your kind thoughts and words of comfort recently. The floral tribute from yourselves and the staff and residents of Fairmount was greatly appreciated. Donations to Diabetes UK totalled --- and I am sure mum would have approved, knowing that the amount would contribute towards further research into the condition which she had for 65 years. The Clubhouse reception was superb and could not have been better. It was of course mum’s favourite location. We are going to continue to use the venue for sunday lunch in the future.

Dear Sue,
I just wanted to place on record my sincere thanks to you and all of your staff for all the efforts you made to ensure that my mother’s final months were the best they could have been. From the moment I entered Fairmount I knew that it was the right place for Mam and thankfully she agreed with me, constantly thanking me for finding her such a splendid home with such lovely people caring for her. I do not intend to single out anyone for special mention as everyone was lovely - you coming to meet Mam, the wonderful nurses and carers, the lovely laundry ladies [who cared for her clothes as tenderly as the others cared for Mam], the caring cleaning staff, the lovely hairdresser, the talented gardening staff and very importantly for Mam, the two chefs who patiently discussed Mam’s menus with her, making her feel very special and giving her something to look forward to each day - delicious meals. Mam was very ill and at times was awkward. I would like to thank you all for how you handled this with absolute professionalism and a great deal of care and understanding. The care Mam received here was outstanding and I feel privileged to have met you all, such lovely caring people. Nothing can possibly make up for the loss of my Mam but I am able to draw tremendous comfort from feeling that bringing Mam to Fairmount was the best thing I could have done for my Mam at this time. I am extremely grateful to you all for all the care you gave to her.

To all the staff at Fairmount,
Thank you for all the care and attention you gave my Aunt over the years and also for the lovely flowers and your attendance at her funeral, all very much appreciated. To all the staff at Fairmount, who over the years have given Mam such loving care and attention. I won’t name names in case I miss somebody out, but you know how much your interest and help meant to her and me and the family. Thankyou for the love, care and attention you gave to our Mum during her last few weeks. You are all angels. Thank you all so much.

Dear Sue,

We could not have wished for better care or for more support. We are particularly grateful to you, Sue, for the support, advice and comfort that you have given to us over recent weeks. Dear Allyson,
Over most of the two years that Nora has been in Brookfield you have been there for her, not just as the Manager, but as a person, friend and helper. In these roles you have set an example in levels of care and caring that could not be exceeded. I am personally so grateful that you were involved in settling her into life at Brookfield. The whole family is so pleased that her last years were in such a good home. I hope you are enjoying your new roll in the organisation and wish you well for the future.

Dear Gillian,
Over the last two years that Nora has been in Brookfield you have been looking after her and making her feel comfortable as she could be in her last years. The care she received from you and all the staff has been so kind and considerate. The family and I are so pleased that we found Brookfield for her. My thanks to you for your personal efforts, particularly in the last days Nora was with us. My good wishes to you all in your new roll at Brookfield.

Dear Sir / Madam,

I recently held my birthday party at the Fairmount Park Clubhouse. I just felt I had to write to congratulate your staff for the wonderful service [above and beyond the call of duty] and also for the delicious buffet. I had a wonderful birthday because, the venue and the attitude of the staff was excellent. [Adrian, Christine and Susan were on duty] I will definitely consider ‘The Clubhouse’ for future celebrations, as will my guests who were impressed with the evening.

Dear Janet,
We would like to thank you and your staff for providing such excellent food and friendly atmosphere at the Clubhouse after our Aunts funeral. When I spoke to you on the phone and when we met you on Thursday and Friday we were very impressed with your genuine desire to help us at a very difficult time. You and your staff were so friendly and nothing seamed too much trouble. Many of our guests also commented on the quality of the food and the welcoming surroundings. It was so good for us to be able to relax and talk to **** friends and our family in such a lovely place.
